AdSense is an ad serving application run by Google . These advertisements are administered by Google and generate revenue on either a per-click or per-impression basis. I’ve been reading a few forums and blogs about Google Adsense tips. Here are some tips based on my experiences so far with the AdSense program:
1. Don't put ads on empty pages.
2. Don't be afraid to ask questions
3. Avoid non-English characters on English pages.
4. Check your keyword density.
5. Put too much emphasis on AdSense and your site may be linked to less.
6. if you get huge traffic, the AdSense income from the site is more dependent on the site type and audience.
7. Image ads can be relevant and work for you, but they might also apall some visitors
8. When it comes to context sensitive targeting, you can increase or lower the importance of certain parts of your page.
9. Be aware of risks when you change ad layouts too much.
10. Use competing ad systems when AdSense doesn't seem to work for a site.
11. Sometimes you may get a sudden increase in traffic, hence ad clicks, but you can't locate the source of the traffic.
12. Consider using AdSense even when the page doesn't get any traffic yet
13. Making money with AdSense takes time.
